Storyboard
Before making our Opening Title Sequence we have to plan out all of the potential scenes we are going to need. To plan out our Opening Title Sequence we created a storyboard. The storyboard is designed to help us visualise different scenes of the Opening Title Sequence that we want. Each panel of the storyboard has information on what the general scene is supposed to be as well as the preferable camera angles we want for the scene. This should help bring a basic guideline for us in the production process of the Opening Title Sequence. Without the storyboard the production process could become a lot less efficient as we wouldn't have a basic guideline while filming, rather than spending valuable time at each location trying to decide what shots we want to film and what sorts of angles.
These storyboards contain many scenes of which we hope to include in our final Opening Title Sequence. In our actual Final Opening Title Sequence many scenes depicted on the storyboard may be varied in certain ways or other scenes added to help the fluidity of the narrative.
This is an example of a real made storyboard for the film Nightmare on Elm Street.
